BRIDGET DE LEÓN

Bridget de León is an experienced specialist in contemporary and 20th century art. She co-founded the Percy Miller gallery from 1999- 2005 and in 2006 she organised and ran the first ‘Collecting Contemporary Art’ course for the Whitechapel Gallery, London.

She presented an extensive exhibition of Grace Weir’s film work at the Science Museum in 2007. This was the largest exhibition dedicated to a single artist at the museum. Prior to this Bridget's career has included running the Delfina Studio Trust from 1991-1995, working at Tate, London and P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, New York. She has placed works in private and major public collections including the British Museum, Deutsche Bank, The Fleming Collection, Zabludowicz Collection, St. John’s College, Oxford, and the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin.

Bridget has an M.A. in Curating Contemporary Art from The Royal College of Art, London and a joint honours degree in History/History of Art from Bristol University.
